TO DO: Prekindergarten students can select what they would like to work on from the activities below. 🙂
Mouse Skills
Practice the point and click mouse skill with the mouse games below. Parents, you may need to demonstrate how to properly hold and use the mouse as we did not yet get to do much mouse practice in class. If you do not have a device with a mouse at home it is okay! We will work on these skills next year as well. 🙂
- Bloople’s Colors (point and click)
- Dino Draw (point and click) – Click on a dinosaur then click in the picture to place the dinosaur where you want it to go.
Practice the drag and drop mouse skill with the mouse games below. Parents, you may need to demonstrate how to properly hold the mouse as well as click, drag, and let go to show students how to properly do the drag and drop skill. If you do not have a device with a mouse at home it is okay! We will work on these skills next year as well. 🙂
- Bobby’s Busy Bakery
- Build a House – This activity uses both the point and click as well as the drag and drop mouse skills.
- Magic Paint – Click on a pint brush and a color then use the drag and drop skill to draw in the black workspace.
Keyboard Awareness Activities
Practice finding letters on the keyboard with the typing games below. If you do not have a device with a keyboard at home it is okay! We will work on these skill next year as well. 🙂
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PARENTS: The activities I link to are the only activities that I am suggesting the students use on the websites that these links take you to as I have previewed these activities. In class, students are not allowed to click around to other games on the websites that these links take you to. If you choose to allow your student to click around to other games and click on other links on the websites, I suggest you preview what your student wants to use to ensure they are age appropriate.
